However, this allows you to focus on running and growing your business rather than worrying about the technical details.

Additionally, WP Engine is optimized specifically for WordPress websites, which means that it is optimized for the performance and security of WordPress sites.

Moreover, it also offers a range of tools and features specifically designed to enhance the performance and functionality of WordPress sites, such as staging environments and CDN integration.

Overall, WP Engine is a reliable and feature-rich hosting provider that is well-suited for businesses looking to host a WordPress website.

Who Should Not Use WP Engine?

WP Engine is primarily geared towards hosting WordPress websites, so it may not be the best choice for businesses or individuals looking to host a non-WordPress website.

While hosting other types of websites on WP Engine is possible, it is not optimized for different types of content management systems (CMS) or platforms. If you are looking to host a non-WordPress website, it may be better to consider a hosting provider that is more specialized in hosting a wider range of CMS or platforms.

Additionally, WP Engine’s pricing may be higher for some individuals or small businesses with limited budgets or resource constraints.

In these cases, it may be more cost-effective to consider a hosting provider with lower starting prices or more flexible pricing options.

Final Verdict

WP Engine is a top-rated WordPress hosting provider that offers fast, reliable, and secure hosting for WordPress websites.

However, it can be a great choice for businesses and bloggers looking for a premium hosting solution that takes care of all the technical aspects of hosting a website. With a range of hosting plans to choose from and additional features like staging environments and CDN integration, WP Engine is well-suited to meet the needs of a wide range of websites.

While there may be better choices for those looking to host a non-WordPress website or those on a tight budget, it is a reliable and feature-rich option for those looking to host a WordPress site.

The chat service on the website is…
The phone service is good. The chat service on the website is awful. You ask simple questions and before anything, they want all your information. What’s the point of having a chat service on the website if you can’t answer simple questions? But I believe that is their training.

15+ websites with WpEngine and growing…
We run 15+ websites with WpEngine all on a dedicated GCP server and have been happy with the service and support. It’s true that customers don’t have a view into server-side performance and can’t access Apache/Ngninx configs but if you really cared about these things you’d want to self-host your WordPress sites. I like the fact that New Relic and Cloudflare WAF is bundled into the pricing and the truth is that the WpEngine servers have been rock solid (100% availability). WordPress can be annoying but that’s not WpEninge’s fault πŸ˜‰ Overall we have been very satisfied and have no reason to look elsewhere for WordPress hosting.
